now accepting Electronic Settlement Submission
Welcome to your new community! myStreet Community Management offers an electronic settlement submission process to help complete ownership transfers and establish new owner accounts as efficiently as possible.
Information for Realtors and Settlement Professionals
Completed electronic settlement packages should be emailed to: settlements@mystreetva.com
To process the ownership transfer, the submission must include:
-
The final settlement or closing statement
-
The property address
-
The buyer’s or new owner’s full name
-
The closing date
-
Copies of all Association-related disbursement checks or other acceptable proof of payment
-
Any additional documentation needed to accurately process the transfer
Association-related disbursements may include assessments collected at closing, capital contributions, transfer fees, outstanding Association balances, resale-related charges, or other Association funds shown on the settlement statement.
Please note: A settlement statement by itself is not considered a complete electronic settlement package. Copies of the applicable disbursement checks or other proof of payment must also be provided.
Incomplete submissions cannot be processed for electronic account setup until the required documentation is received.
Processing Expectations
Electronic submission helps myStreet begin the ownership-transfer process while settlement funds and original documentation are in transit. However, electronic submission does not guarantee immediate or same-day processing and does not change the order in which settlements are processed.
A copy of a disbursement check confirms that payment was issued at closing, but it does not necessarily confirm that the Association has received or deposited the funds. All closing payments remain subject to normal accounting, receipt, and reconciliation procedures.
The settlement email address is intended only for completed electronic settlement packages. It is not monitored for replies, general questions, resale or payoff requests, status inquiries, or routine homeowner correspondence.
Information for New Owners
Your ownership must be verified and transferred in the Association’s management system before your new owner account and CINC Connect access can be established.
Once the ownership transfer is complete, you will be able to access applicable community resources, which may include:
-
CINC Connect owner portal access
-
Assessment and payment information
-
Governing documents
-
Architectural request information
-
Community and management contacts
-
Amenity information and access procedures
-
Other community-specific resources
Submitting a portal registration request does not replace the settlement process and cannot be used by itself to verify ownership. If your closing documentation has not yet been processed, your property may temporarily remain listed under the prior owner or builder.
Please allow time after closing for the complete settlement package to be received, reviewed, and processed. Account balances or automated correspondence may temporarily reflect pending closing activity while settlement funds are received and applied.
Help Us Avoid Delays
Before submitting an electronic settlement package, please confirm that the final settlement statement and documentation for all Association-related payments are included. Complete documentation helps prevent delays, incorrect beginning balances, duplicate accounts, and unnecessary account notices.
